Jonathan Paull currently resides with his wife Christine at Musselman's Lake, near the town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario, Canada which he has lived in for over the past 30+ years. He is the father of four children - Jazmynn, Conner, Ty and Jagr and his interests include weight training, running, swimming, playing the saxophone, cooking and creating landscape projects.

Jonathan is an old boy of St. Andrews College, Aurora, Canada which he attended from 1977-1984. He was active in sports, such as cricket, soccer, hockey, basketball, and rugby. He played "first" team soccer for three seasons, captaining the team in his final year. He also represented the "first" rugby team for two seasons. As well, Jonathan was a member of the town of Markham's rugby team, playing for the "Marauders" and also in its M.L.S. soccer league.

Jonathan attended the University of Guelph from 1984-1988 graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He also represented the university on both the "first" and "second" team level in rugby.

Upon graduation from university Jonathan turned his interests towards the hospitality industry - which he had always been involved in one form or another since the age of 15 years old - becoming a corporate chef for a retail of English pubs and a restaurant consultant. Even with long hours and an inflexible schedule Jonathan was still able to remain active through running and weight training. After over 15 years in the hospitality industry, owning three English pubs, Jonathan decided to let it all go and return to his true passion - the health and fitness industry.

Jonathan's first break came in 1998 when his mother, Barbara Paull, a registered physiotherapist and clinic owner of York County Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic, Newmarket, Ontario was in need of a physiotherapy assistant. Eager for the opportunity to work in the rehabilitative field and under the tutorship of 13 registered physiotherapists, Jonathan quickly seized the moment. Jonathan's position entailed working in the clinic's 2000 sq ft gym facility, monitoring and teaching physiotherapy prescribed programs for W.S.I.B., M.V.A, and private patients.

In the year 2000, Jonathan certified himself as a Health Consultant through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. In the same year, he also added Personal Training Specialist - through Can Fit Pro- to his credentials.

It was also in that year (2000) that Jonathan created and patented the Catpost2000. A complete stretching, strengthening and assistance station, which today is used within numerous physiotherapy clinics.

In 2004 Jonathan re-opened the Unfitness Club Ltd. As the gym manager and fitness trainer, Jonathan's objective was to assist recently discharged patients in returning to new or pre-existing fitness and sporting activities. As a preventative program, its objective was to act as a stepping stone, assisting patients to become fit and to continue being fit  without injuring themselves. It was the creation of the Unfitness Club Ltd. that made Jonathan aware of the different training principles prescribed by the rehabilitation field and the fitness industry. This awareness soon became Jonathan's primary focus - preventing the fitness industry from prescribing programs for the majority of injured individuals.

In 2006, through the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehabilitation Professionals, Jonathan became a Medical Exercise Specialist.

In 2007 Jonathan and clinic director/physiotherapist, Carol Moore, co-wrote the book Core Exercises and Training Manual. The book was primarily written for clinic patients and workshop participants. Its importance was quickly realized as a steady flow of patients came through the clinic's doors having injured themselves incorporating the fitness industry's core training principles.

In 2009 after ten plus years in a clinical environment, working individually with thousands of patients, Jonathan recognized repetitive patterns with his active lifestyle patients. How the fitness industry - who cater to healthy uninjured individuals - was governing the teachings of health and fitness to the majority of injured individuals. Thus, the creation of Structurally Sound - Renovating The Middle-Aged Body. With books in one hand, the Catpost2000 in the other and years of fitness and rehabilitation experience, Jonathan has found his path.

In 2010 Jonathan created InjuryFreeFitness.com - an institution which promotes injury prevention, educational tips and assist those who have been injured in the name of "getting fit".

As of December 2010 Jonathan has assumed the responsibilities of General Manager for York County Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic. Though he still works with patients within the clinic, his primary objective is to provide training workshops for Personal Trainers within the fitness industry, allowing them to become aware of the training process and principles when it pertains to working with the Boomer and Zoomer population.
